Features and Benefits
The EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Gate, despite its seemingly standard appearance, sets itself apart from other products in the market through its environmentally considered manufacturing approach. Using a novel low-weld technique, the system incorporates bespoke laser-cut pre-galvanised elements, creating very robust connections when firmly pressed together, and reducing the dependence on energy-intensive welding. This eco-friendly approach unites with customer desires for lessening environmental impact in the manufacturing process of gates and railings.
Formed from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates are strong and display exceptional resilience, able to withstand sustained exposure to harsh weather conditions, ensuring years of dependable performance.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates provide a modular and lightweight solution, allowing rapid installation meeting a range of hardware needs. This gate range has a versatile, modular design, and as they are both right and left-handed they provide on-site flexibility, making the installation decision-making process more straightforward. The modular functionality allows for easy adjustments in the event of any gate movement, providing adaptability that fixed hardware cannot give.
The gate kit comprises an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety guidelines, to ensure stability in the unlikely event of even one hinge failing. Furthermore, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post giving fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.
Each gate comes pre-drilled, simplifying the attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face.
Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant is suitable for softer ground types, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts.
The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation. The modularity of this gate range means it is compatible with all our security locks, which are also available from First Fence. An anti-climb Locking Plate can also be added to this selection. Consider enhancing security further with a heavy-duty padlock.
