Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Play Sec Double Leaf Gate Kit offers versatile access control with a height of 1.5m and width of 2.0m. Despite its lower stature, it effectively manages entry by allowing operation of either one or both leaves. It is recommended to enhance gate security with a separately available locking drop bolt for the double leaf format.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates present a completely modular and exceptionally lightweight gate solution, guaranteeing a quick and straightforward installation process for various gate hardware. Their universally handed format gives on-site flexibility without rigid left or right-hand specifications, enabling adjustments in the event of gate movement, an advantageous feature compared to fixed hardware.

What sets apart these double gates is their commitment to environmentally friendly manufacturing. Utilising an innovative low-weld technique on custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components ensures sturdy interconnected joints without relying on resource-intensive and energy-consuming welding processes. Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Safety Compliance

The gate rails are strategically placed at 100mm intervals to eliminate the risk of entrapment, and the top bows, measuring 90mm, also effectively prevent wrist or neck trapping. This rail configuration facilitates easy supervision for parents, guardians, or supervisors, enhancing overall safety and minimising the likelihood of accidents during play. The design and production of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate strictly adhere to BS EN 1176 regulations.

When properly installed, the gate offers a ground clearance of 50mm, and has the capability to open both inward and outward at a 90° angle.

Available in a range of heights and widths, these gates also come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
