Features and Benefits
The EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing, designed like a standard bay, employs an environmentally conscious construction technique using a low-weld approach and it is this which sets it apart from regular products. This innovative method utilises custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components, creating robust connections without the need for energy-intensive welding processes. This eco-friendly choice appeals to customers concerned about minimising environmental impact during production.
Skilfully manufactured from quality pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates ensure durability to withstand outdoor challenges.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates offer a fully modular, lightweight system with various hardware for quick and easy installation. Universally handed, these gates provide on-site flexibility, allowing the selection of the preferred leaf orientation during installation. The modular functionality provides adjustability, offering flexibility in case of gate movement, which fixed hardware cannot provide.
Each gate comes with pre-drilled frame holes for easy installation of three adjustable gate eyes and a drop bolt, if chosen, accompanied by plastic hole plugs for unused holes to enhance appearance.
The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, complying with BS 12604 safety guidelines. With three hinges, the gate remains secure even if one should fail, preventing potential injury or damage. The gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post for added security, providing fixed-axis hinges removing vertical movement.
Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit offers both dig-in and bolt-down versions suitable for installation in different locations. The dig-in option suits softer ground, requiring Post Mix for stability, while the bolt-down option suits harder ground and is secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. It is recommended that you assess your ground substance before making your purchase to ensure you get the correct post format.
When installed correctly, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, with a 50mm ground clearance.
The gate's modularity makes it compatible with all our security locks, and additional security features like an anti-climb Locking Plate and heavy-duty padlock are available.
