The EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing, modelled after a standard bay, incorporates an environmentally conscious construction method that distinguishes it from conventional products. This eco-friendly option is particularly appealing to customers who prioritise minimising environmental impact in the production process.
Skilfully manufactured in the First Fence in-house fabrication department from quality pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates ensure durability to withstand harsh outdoor challenges.
The EnviroRail® Gates provide a completely modular and lightweight solution, allowing for quick installation to meet diverse hardware requirements. They are universally handed, eliminating fixed left or right-hand specifications for on-site flexibility and streamlining decision-making during installation allowing fitters to choose the most suitable configuration on the day. The modular functionality ensures adjustability, accommodating gate movement, a feature lacking in fixed hardware.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
Each gate comes with pre-drilled frame holes for easy installation of three adjustable gate eyes and a drop bolt, if chosen, accompanied by plastic hole plugs for unused holes to enhance appearance.
The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post and three adjustable gate eyes, complying with BS 12604 safety guidelines. With three hinges, the gate remains secure even if one should fail, preventing potential injury or damage. The gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post for added security, providing fixed-axis hinges removing vertical movement. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit offers both dig-in and bolt-down versions suitable for installation in different locations. The dig-in option suits softer ground, requiring Post Mix for stability, while the bolt-down option suits harder ground and is secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. It is recommended that you assess your ground substance before making your purchase to ensure you get the correct post format.
When installed correctly, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, with a 50mm ground clearance.
To enhance your gate, consider adding a Slider Kit for secure closure. The gate's modularity makes it compatible with all our security locks, and additional security features like an anti-climb Locking Plate and heavy-duty padlock are available.
