Bow Top Railing showcases a distinct curved design on the top edge of the rail, blending elegance with practicality as a sturdy barrier. This fencing and gate style originates from the 19th Century, historically enclosing gardens and residences to strike an appealing yet unobtrusive look.

Despite its timeless charm, this product excels in durability and security, serving as a versatile fencing solution suitable for parks, schools, commercial, and residential properties, ensuring safety while elevating any space's aesthetic appeal.

As a component of our EnviroRail® line, First Fence introduces gate and railing panel kits. Our gates are available in single and double leaf options, offering an extensive range of polyester powder-coated colours. These gates can be adjusted for both bolt-down or dig-in formats, ensuring adaptability to various ground types. Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Bow Top Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 1.0m in height and 6.0m in width, offers versatile access control options, allowing you to choose between one or both leaves in open or closed positions. This is one of the wider double gates in the range and can facilitate foot and small vehicle access.

Although this gate kit resembles a typical bow top product, it distinguishes itself through its eco-conscious manufacturing process. This innovative method minimises the amount of welding by employing custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components that interlock when pressed together securely, significantly reducing the reliance on energy and resource-intensive welding practices. For those concerned about reducing environmental impact in gate production, this could be an ideal product choice.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates present a fully modular and relatively lightweight solution, facilitating swift installation for various hardware requirements. With universal handing, they provide flexibility on-site, eliminating fixed left or right-hand specifications. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.

Each gate arrives with pre-drilled holes which will simplifying the attachment of six adjustable hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the visible side. a separate locking drop bolt option is available as an add-on purchase and is recommended for a double leaf gate. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

The kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes (three for each leaf), meeting BS 12604 safety standards to ensure stability even if one hinge fails. Furthermore, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post.

Offered in various heights and widths, our gate kits are available in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain like turf and soil and will need Post Mix for a secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces such as concrete, secured using eight M16 x 125mm anchor bolts, which can be included in your order. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
