The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Double Leaf Gate Kit, with dimensions of 1.0m in height and 5.0m in width, offers a considerable width ideal for larger gates or driveways, facilitating the passage of pedestrian traffic and vehicles. The double-leaf gate design provides users with enhanced flexibility, allowing one or both leaves to be in open or closed positions, giving you total control.
While the vertical bar gate may initially seem conventional however, its unique feature lies in its environmentally aware fabrication method. It applies an unconventional low-weld technique on custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components, ensuring robust connections without the need for resource-intensive and energy-consuming welding. For customers prioritising reduced environmental impact, this could be the optimal choice.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
First Fence's EnviroRail® Double Gates offer an advanced, fully modular yet quite lightweight, gate solution, ensuring quick installation to meet diverse gate hardware needs. Designed to be universally handed, they provide on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications, allowing adjustments if the gates move, an advantage fixed hardware lacks.
Each gate in the kit arrives pre-drilled with holes, simplifying the installation of the six adjustable gate eye hinges and a locking drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to conceal any unused openings on the attack face, and a locking drop bolt is available as an optional addition, highly recommended for double-leaf gate security. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
The kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes (three for each gate leaf), adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines for gate stability, even if one hinge fails. This is crucial for preventing injury to people and property damage. Moreover, the gate hooks are securely welded to the gate post, featuring fixed-axis hinges that eliminate any vertical movement.
Available in various heights and widths, the gate kits come in both dig-in and bolt-down versions, catering to installation needs in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain such as grass and soil, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.
Compatible with our security locks, available to add to your order, this gate kit allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post when installed correctly, with the gates having 50mm ground clearance.
