First Fence is excited to introduce the EnviroRail® Bow Top Gate collection, created to perfectly align with the EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing series. Bow Top Railing stands as an elegant and decorative fencing style, featuring a graceful curved top rail that not only elevates the structure's visual appeal but also fulfills practical functions. While its ornate design adds charm, this product effectively acts as a protective barrier suitable for various settings, spanning from parks and educational institutions to commercial and residential areas. Balancing security and aesthetics, it offers a sense of safety to public spaces while preserving an inviting and inclusive atmosphere.

EnviroRail® from First Fence features both gate and railing panel kits. The gates are available as a single and double leaf in a range of heights and widths, and in a range of polyester powder coated colours.

Features and Benefits

EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing may look typical, yet it's crafted using an eco-friendlier low-weld technique. This innovative method involves custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components, forging robust bonds upon assembly without the need for energy-intensive welding.

Crafted from pre-galvanised steel adhering to BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, the gates are built to endure outdoor conditions well.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier. Each EnviroRail gate is fitted with a UniSlide kit, providing a secure and efficient sliding system for ease of use. The Single Leaf Kit contains a retainer plate and guide plate for alignment, a durable slider with an  handle set and fixings.

EnviroRail® Gates boast a fully modular, lightweight design suitable for a variety of hardware, ensuring swift and uncomplicated installation. With universal orientation, they offer on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand leaf limitations. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.

Each gate is pre-drilled, facilitating easy installation of three hinges and a drop bolt. Provided plastic hole plugs offer coverage for unused holes on the attack face when a drop bolt isn't installed.

The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, meeting safety guidelines outlined in BS 12604. The gate's three hinges secure compliance, ensuring that even if one fails, the gate remains in place, preventing potential injury or damage. Additionally, the three gate hooks are welded securely to the gate post, these are fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.

Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit comes in dig-in or bolt-down versions, catering to diverse installation requirements. The dig-in option suits softer ground like soil or grass and necessitates Post Mix for securing the posts. Conversely, the bolt-down option, designed for hard ground, uses four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts for a secure fixture.

This gate kit is compatible with our security locks and when installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
