First Fence proudly introduces the EnviroRail® Bow Top Gate range, a perfect complement to the EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing collection. The graceful curvature of the Bow Top Railing not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also serves a functional purpose. Despite its ornate design, this product functions as an effective barrier, suitable for various settings from parks and schools to commercial and residential properties. Balancing security with an open and inviting appearance, it safeguards public spaces.
The EnviroRail® range by First Fence presents gate and railing panel kits. Our gates are offered as single and double leaf options, available in a variety of polyester powder-coated colours.
Features and Benefits
The EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing appears conventional but is crafted using a low-weld method, making it an environmentally conscious system. This method involves custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components that create robust bonds when pressed together, eliminating the need for energy-intensive welding.
Our gates are constructed from pre-galvanised steel conforming to BS 10346 standards and then coated with polyester powder. These treatments ensure durability against outdoor conditions.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier. Every EnviroRail gate is supplied with a UniSlide kit, a durable and secure sliding system for smooth operation. The Single Leaf Kit consists of a retainer plate and guide plate for proper alignment, a high-quality slider with an integrated handle set and fixings.
EnviroRail® Gates comprise a fully modular, lightweight system with easy installation options for various hardware. Universally handed, they offer on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand leaf, allowing for customisable installation. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.
Each gate is pre-drilled for easy installation of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are provided, offering a clean finish when the drop bolt isn't installed.
The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge and catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes. Compliance with BS 12604 safety guidance is ensured with three hinges, preventing the gate leaf from falling if one hinge fails. The gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post. These are fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.
Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit comes in dig-in or bolt-down versions, suitable for diverse installations. The dig-in option suits softer ground and requires Post Mix for stability, while the bolt-down option is designed for hard ground, secured with four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts.
This gate kit is compatible with our security locks and when installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
