Upon initial inspection, the EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Gate may seem like a standard product. However, its standout feature lies in its eco-conscious production method. The EnviroRail® system employs a low-weld approach using custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised parts that interlock securely at assembly, significantly reducing the need for energy-intensive welding processes. This resonates with environmentally conscious customers, aligning with First Fence's commitment to minimising ecological footprints in production.
The 0.9m high x 3.0m wide EnviroRail® Flat Top Double Leaf Gate, the lowest height in this range, is perfect for entrances in homes, gardens, or driveways, especially in urban settings where a lower profile is preferred for aesthetic reasons. It offers flexibility with the option to open one or both leaves, providing total access control.
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel conforming to BS 10346 standards and polyester powder coated, these gates boast a double layer of protection against outdoor exposure and wear and tear, ensuring years of reliable use.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates are a fully modular, ultra-lightweight system with quick and easy installation. Universally handed, they eliminate the need for fixed left or right-hand specifications, providing flexibility on-site and streamlining decision-making during fitting. The gate kit includes essential components meeting safety guidelines BS 12604, and the gates are designed for stability even in the unlikely event of hinge failure.
Each gate is comes with pre-drilled holes, making the attaching of the adjustable gate eyes and a drop bolt very swift. Plastic hole plugs are included in the kit to cover any unused holes on the attack face, preventing water accumulation inside the structure and enhancing the gate's overall appearance. A locking drop bolt is available as an add-on purchase and is highly recommended for the double leaf format.

Designed for versatility, the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate Kit is available in an extensive range of heights and widths, offering the perfect gate for your needs. The kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces and will need four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.
The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation. The modularity of this gate range makes it compatible with all of our digital locking systems. Enhance security with an anti-climb Locking Plate and a heavy-duty padlock.
