EasiLift Handle for LowPro 23/05 Road Plate
The Oxford LowPro 23/05 Road Plate system enables you to create a trench cover of any length. It is a modular system made of individual Inner Pieces that link together without needing to be bolted. These Inner Pieces are relatively lightweight, but care needs to be taken in positioning them. The EasiLift Handle enables two people to manipulate each section into place without the need for lifting gear.
The Handles fit into holes in the Road Plate Inner Pieces and make lifting easy work.
Installation
This is a two-person lift at all times, and lifting best practices should be employed.
- The First Inner Piece is positioned using the centre line as a guide.
- Check that there is a minimum overlap of the edge of the trench of 530mm (21"), and do this for every piece.
- Move the next piece so that the connectors fit into the slots.
- When engaged, gently lower the piece. Repeat the process until the entire trench is covered with Inner Pieces.
- If required, connect the End Piece.
- This is light enough to be installed without the EasiLift Handles.
- The End Piece is not load-bearing and must be entirely on solid ground.
- Do not drag or drop the product.
A steel construction makes the EasiLift Handle very robust and ideal for outdoor use. For efficient lifting, two handles are required per Road Plate Inner Piece.
