Overview

Nu Build Barnsley were tasked with finding a gate that would provide suitable security and aesthetics for a property.

Challenges

Aesthetics: The customer wanted these to look visually appealing around their property, as it was their home and would be visible.
Durability: The solution needed to be robust and long-lasting so that it would withstand the test of time.
Security: The gates were only required to add a low level of security, so that the gate would act as an access point for visitors and the homeowner.

Solutions

To provide the aesthetics and the level of security that the customer was looking for, Nu Build Barnsley decided to go with our bow top gates.

Our bow top gates are manufactured with high-quality galvanised steel, and they are available in a choice of standard or custom RAL colours, enabling customers to customise their railing gates to meet their aesthetic requirements. The addition of powder coating also adds an extra layer of protection, increasing their longevity.

These bow top gates have a slider and latch, and are also supplied with a drop bolt which can be used to hold the gate leaf securely open, and can help further secure the gate when it’s not in use.

The round top design provides a safe option, which is why they are commonly used in residential areas, along with parks and schools. They are the ideal boundary system that is less intimidating in appearance, while still being difficult to climb.
