A fantastic looking, strong and reliable gate system, these 1.0m high double leaf metal gates are ideal for securing drive ways or properties, or for use in public spaces such as parks or schools. With their double leaf design these gates can accommodate large groups of pedestrians or incoming or outgoing vehicles safely.
These stylish bow top gates have been designed to look great and remain strong for years to come. Each has been made from excellent quality galvanised steel, built to our highest standards by our expert team of fabricators. The galvanised zinc coating which has been applied to the steel protects it against the damaging effects of rust and corrosion.
This range of double leaf bow top gates is available in widths starting from 2.0m up to 10.0m, allowing a wide range of vehicles or even multiple lines of vehicles to access and leave your site safely. With their double leaf design, both of which can be opened and closed independently of one another access or traffic flow can be limited by closing off one of the leafs.
The gates can also be held open for extended periods of time through the use of the two drop bolts supplied with each kit. These bolts can also be used to hold the gate closed when not in use.
As well as the drop bolts, each gate comes with a sliding bolt, which can be used to hold the gate closed when it is not being used. It can also be further secured with the use of a heavy duty padlock (sold separately).
To allow these 1.0m high double leaf gates to be installed in as many different locations as possible, they can be ordered with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Bolt down posts – The bolt down post is suited towards locations where the ground may be covered with a hard surface such as concrete, where it may not be possible to dig holes. These posts are supplied with base plates which allow for ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be drilled into the surface, holding the posts securely in place.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts have been designed for use in areas where holes can be easily dug. These posts are longer than their bolt down counterparts, allowing some of the post to be placed into the hole and then secured in place with post mix (sold separately)
Each of these 1.0m high double leaf steel bow top railing gates, as standard are finished with a high-quality zinc galvanised finish. This silver finish not only looks great but also provides the steel with a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
For an additional splash of colour for your railing perimeter, it is possible to have these gates with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating. These high-quality finishes are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing these gates to blend in with the surroundings, or stand out and provide an eye-catching entrance or exit point. These coatings also provide an additional layer of protection against weathering and rust.
The addition of gate restrainers to your double leaf gate system can provide peace of mind, helping to reduce the risks of accident or injury. These very easy to install restrainers have been designed to catch and support the gate leaves in the unfortunate and unlikely event that the hinges should fail. By stopping the leaves from falling to the ground, it greatly reduces the chance of people being hit and injured by falling gates.
