What is Mesh Fencing?

Mesh Fencing is a commonly used permanent fencing system, made from interconnected welded wires, that can be used in a range of settings due to its versatility.

Manufactured from high-quality steel, mesh fencing is powder-coated (from your choice of RAL colour), to provide a durable, long-lasting solution that prevents weather damage and rusting. Ensuring that you have a strong, reliable protective barrier that still offers a high level of visibility and a pleasing design for your site requirements.

With matching single and double leaf gates available for certain mesh fencing ranges, you can have a full permanent fencing and gate system to surround your premises and act as a barrier.

There is a range of different types of mesh fencing that are available, and some can be more suited to certain applications than others.

What Mesh Gates are Available with First Fence?

868 Mesh Gates: These gates utilise a slightly wider wire gauge, offering a balance between affordability, visibility, and security. They’re a good choice for deterring casual trespassers in areas like schools, playgrounds or residential properties. These are known as twin mesh gates.

358 Mesh Gates (Prison Mesh Gates): Constructed with a thicker wire gauge and a tighter mesh pattern, 358 mesh gates provide superior security. This makes them ideal for high-risk areas like industrial sites, data centres, or prisons, where there’s a greater need to resist climbing or cutting attempts.
