868 Twin Mesh Infill

The gate’s infill panel is made from 868 twin mesh, which combines two 8mm thick horizontal wires with a 6mm vertical wire sandwiched between them. This structure offers an excellent level of strength and rigidity, providing protection against opportunistic attacks by would be intruders.

The apertures within the mesh infills provides a clear line of sight for CCTV or visual monitoring whilst making climbing difficult for intruders with gaps which are too small to effectively create finger and foot holds.

High-Strength Steel Frame with Protective Coating

Manufactured from premium-grade steel, each gate is finished with a polyester powder coating that provides resistance to corrosion, UV exposure, and general wear. Modular Design

The Apollo® 1.8m x 2.5m gate is built for modular, hassle-free installation. Thanks to its universal handing, there's no need to select a left- or right-handed version—handing can be determined on site to suit your layout.

The gate is supplied with a slider kit pre-installed and pre-drilled holes for quick and tidy hardware mounting. For enhanced access control, the slider can easily be upgraded with a Gatemaster lock system—no welding or leaf removal required. Plastic plugs are included to cap unused holes for a clean, weather-resistant finish.

Ground Type Compatibility 

This gate kit is adaptable for use on various ground conditions:

• Bolt-Down Posts: Ideal for installation on concrete or other hard surfaces. Each post requires 4 x M16 x 125mm Ground Anchor Bolts (sold separately).
• Dig-In Posts: Suitable for soil, grass, or softer terrain. Requires Post Mix—quantities vary depending on ground conditions and gate size (see the recommended quantities when ordering for details).

Safety Compliant Design 

With the optional addition of a Safety Tether, this gate can meet BS 12604 safety standards. The steel tether ensures the gate remains within 300mm of its vertical axis in the unlikely event of top hinge failure—helping to protect users and reduce liability in public spaces. Installation is quick using the gate’s pre-drilled attachment points.
