2.1m High Single Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate Kit
The 2.1m High Single Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate kits provide a stylish and functional access point, which is available in a range of widths ranging from 2.0m to 5.0m. This makes these steel vertical bar gates ideal for use in home gardens as either front or back garden gates, as well as use in more public spaces such as parks or schools.
Made from high-quality galvanised steel, these gates have been meticulously designed and constructed by our team of expert fabricators to ensure that they will remain strong and reliable even in harsh weather conditions.
Each 2.1m high single leaf metal railing gate is supplied with a sliding latch gate leaf and a catch gate post. This allows the gate to be secured closed when not in use, which helps to prevent damage to the hinges as well as accidents or injuries from occurring to gate users. The sliding latch can be locked into place for additional security with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately), preventing unauthorised access.
So that the 2.1m high vertical bar gates can be held open safely for extended periods of time, each gate is supplied with a drop bolt. These drop bolts can also be used to further secure the gate when it is not in use.
These 2.1m high steel vertical bar gates are available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts, allowing them to be installed in a wide range of outdoor locations.
Dig-in posts: The dig-in posts are designed for use in locations where the ground is soft enough for holes to be dug easily. These posts are longer than the bolt-down versions, which allows them to be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately).
Bolt-down posts: The bolt-down posts are suitable for use in areas where the ground surface may be too hard for holes to be dug effectively, such as areas that have been covered in concrete. These posts have a pre-attached base plate, which allows ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to secure these posts in place.
Each gate kit includes:
- 1 x Sliding latch gate leaf
- 1 x Catch gate post
- 1 x Hinge gate post
- 2 x Adjustable gate eye
- 1 x Drop bolt
Customise Your Gate with a PPC Finish
Each of the 2.1m high single leaf standard vertical bar railing gates, as standard, is finished with a galvanised zinc coating. This provides the steel with a layer of protection against weathering and corrosion whilst giving the gate an appealing silver finish.
If you should require a more colourful gate system, Polyester Powder Coatings (PPC) are available. These professionally applied coatings are available in a range of RAL colours, allowing them to suit any environment. As well as being fantastic to look at, these coatings add another layer of protection against weathering and rust to the steel.

As the name suggests, the gate restrainers ‘restrain’ the gate leafs, preventing them from falling in the unfortunate event of a hinge failure and causing injury to any gate users near the gate at the time.
