Suitable for pedestrian or vehicle access, this range of 2.0m high double leaf standard bow top railing gates is available in a range of widths starting from 2.0m up to 10.0m. These gates make fantastic garden gates, driveway gates or they can also be used in more public spaces such as sports fields or parks.
These bow top railing gates don’t just look great, they are made to last. Each has been made from high quality galvanised steel by our team of expert fabricators to our exceedingly high standards. The galvanised zinc coating provided by this steel allows these gates to withstand harsh outdoor environments, allowing them to look great and remain strong for years to come.
So that the gate can be held closed securely, each 2.0m twin leaf steel bow top gate is supplied with a sliding latch leaf and a catch leaf. Making sure that the gate is closed securely when not in use can prevent damage from occurring to the hinges or injuries to any nearby pedestrians in the event that the gate is blown open.
As well as the catch and slider leafs, each gate is supplied with two drop bolts. These bolts can be used to hold each of the gate leafs open for extended periods of time as well as being used to help secure the gate closed when it is not in use.
To allow the 2.0m high standard bow top railing gates to be used in a range of different outdoor environments, they are available to order with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts are ideal for locations where the ground is soft enough for holes to be dug into it easily. This type of post is longer than the bolt down version. The reason for this is because the post will need to be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately).
Bolt down posts – The bolt down post features a base plate and has been designed for use in locations where it is not possible for holes to be dug, such as entrances to parks which may have concrete pathways. These posts are held securely in place with the use of ground anchor bolts (sold separately) which are drilled through the holes in the base plates into the concrete below.
As standard, this range of 2.0m high bow top fencing gates are available with a zinc galvanised finish. This hard-wearing coating provides a layer of protection to the steel, helping to resist weathering and corrosion whilst leaving the gate with a great looking silver finish.
If you are looking for a little more colour for your gates, it is possible to order them with a fantastic looking Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These coatings are professionally applied, leaving a clean, smooth finish and are available in a range of colours. As well as looking great, these coatings add a second layer of protection against rust and corrosion, helping the bow top gates remain strong and stable for years.
(Please note: lead times may apply for PPC finishes, please see the lead times when selecting a colour, or get in touch with one of our team for more information and for custom colours.)
Should the PPC finishes become damaged in some way, it is possible to restore them and the protection that they provide through the use of a quick and easy to use touch up spray can.
Gate restrainers are an essential safety accessory to add to your double leaf steel bow top railing gates. These braided stainless steel cables are attached to the gate leaf and the hinge post and, as the name suggests, ‘restrain’ the gate leafs, preventing them from falling in the unfortunate event of hinge failure. Preventing the gate leafs from falling can help to prevent accidents and injuries occurring to gate users at the point of hinge failure.
