1.8m High RapidShield® 868 Mesh Intermediate Fencing Kit
RapidShield® 868 Mesh Fencing is a high-security, rapid deployment system designed for temporary and semi-permanent site protection. Combining the strength of permanent fencing with the flexibility of a temporary system, it can be installed quickly without excavation, ground preparation or permanent fixings.
To assemble the Rapid Deployment Mesh Fencing, you will need an M8 x 40mm Star Torque Bit.
Introducing RapidShield®
Manufactured from pre-galvanised steel, RapidShield® provides a strong and durable perimeter that can withstand demanding outdoor conditions. The modular design allows fencing runs of virtually any length, while optional green or black Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) provides additional protection and a professional finish.
Unlike traditional fencing systems, RapidShield® can be installed directly onto flat ground without digging holes or assessing the ground conditions. This makes it an ideal solution when speed, flexibility and minimal site disruption are important.
The 1.8m High RapidShield® 868 Mesh Intermediate Fencing Kit includes:
- 1 x 1.8m high x 2.5m wide 868 mesh panel
- 1 x intermediate post
- 7 x M8 x 40mm mesh security bolts
- 7 x black 868 mesh fencing clips
- 1 x black ribbed post end insert
- 1 x UniFoot kit with ballast
The 868 mesh panel features twin 8mm horizontal wires and single 6mm vertical wires. This robust construction creates a strong, rigid barrier with narrow apertures that make climbing difficult, providing an effective level of site security.
RapidShield® 868 Mesh is also available in 2.0m, 2.4m and 3.0m heights, giving you the flexibility to choose a system suited to your security requirements.
Innovative UniFoot Stabilising System
Each kit includes a RapidShield® UniFoot system with 200kg of ballast, providing stability without the need for permanent ground fixings.
The patented folding design features an integrated handle for easy positioning and manoeuvrability. When not in use, the UniFoot can be folded and stacked for efficient storage and transportation.
Complete Your RapidShield® System
Create a complete perimeter by adding a RapidShield® corner post kit or end post kit for changes in direction or to finish your fencing run.
For controlled access, RapidShield® site gates are available in single and double leaf configurations and various widths. The gates feature flush-fitting drop bolts for easy stacking and storage, as well as pre-lasered holes for a safety tether, helping to meet BS 12604 safety requirements.
RapidShield® is also available with 358 mesh and V mesh infills, providing further options for different site security requirements.
