Ultipatch Footway 25kg Tub
Ultipatch Footway is a HAPAS-approved permanent cold-lay surfacing asphalt that is a great option for small area repairs to footpaths, driveways, and similar environments.
It is made of high-skid resistance, full graded aggregate ranging from 6mm to dust, and a bitumen binder formulated to give high-level performance in all weathers. When compacted, the aggregate will bind firmly together. No curing time is needed, and your repair can be driven or walked on straight away.
Ultipatch Footway can be utilised as a reinstatement material and as a permanent cold-lay surfacing material in accordance with Appendix A2.4 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1999. Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH), Third Edition, April 2010.
It has great workability, is easy to apply and compact and perfect for planned or reactive repairs.
Available from First Fence in a 25kg tub, it will cover approximately 1m square at a depth of 10-15mm, depending on the area needing repair.
For best results, the area to be repaired should be cut out with square edges. Apply the loose Ultipatch Footway product to this area right up to the edges, applying a 50% addition, which is necessary as it will be compacted to form the durable repair.
Tools and equipment can be cleaned simply by using a hydrocarbon solvent such as white spirit, but this should be done as soon as possible after application.
Please use a face mask, goggles, gloves, and overalls when handling bitumen-based products. Part-used tubs should be fully resealed after use, and the remaining product should be used within one month of the tub being opened.
