Chain link fencing is strong, cost-effective and adaptable. Commonly utilised for security, property demarcation, sports enclosures, and animal containment, it offers a durable yet unobtrusive alternative to traditional fencing styles. It is generally made from galvanised steel and PVC-coated it ensures durability, weather resistance, and long-lasting performance.
This fencing style is also known as wire netting, wire-mesh fencing, chain-wire fencing, or diamond-mesh fencing. It comes in various heights and needs little upkeep after installation, making it a highly economical choice.
End strainer posts play a crucial role in a chain link fencing system, ensuring stability and maintaining fence tension over time.
The First Fence end strainer post kit includes all the necessary components for a strong and reliable installation: a 3600mm-long end strainer post (hot-dip galvanised/powder-coated green or black) with a 50mm RSA profile, 40 x 40mm struts for the chosen fence height, a 30 x 5mm chain link stretcher bar, five ferrule winders, support and cross beams, and three M8 x 20mm BZP hex head nuts and bolts.
Engineered for maximum strength and stability, these strainer posts provide support at the end of the fence line. Featuring three bolt-on ferrule winders, they ensure consistent tension across the entire fencing system.
Each end post is hot-dip galvanised (HDG) to ISO 1461 standards, with a protective coating of at least 85µ, offering excellent resistance against rust and weathering damage. HDG treatment enhances durability, making these posts ideal for long-term outdoor use. Additionally, they are available powder-coated to BS EN 13438 in a green or black finish. This coating further improves corrosion resistance and weather protection while providing a visually appealing and robust finish.
