Our stabilizing bar is designed to be used with a temporary block tray. The support bar is ideal for providing additional stability to temporary fencing systems that have been erected on uneven or sloping ground. Additionally, the stabilizing bar is the perfect tool to combat windy weather and provide more stability to your temporary fencing system.
Stabilizing support bars are often referred to as backstays. The bar is positioned at an angle and held in place with a block tray (sold separately). Then, the bar is joined to the temporary fencing panel using couplers between the adjoining panels. Stabilizing support bars not only offer greater stability, but they also enhance security. They make removing your temporary fencing more difficult as they provide an extra component to keep the fence stable and make it more difficult to move. For an additional security measure, you can use anti-tamper couplers, which are highly secure and can only be undone using an anti-tamper spanner.
We have several items that can work together with the stabilizing bar to make the fencing more secure and stable. In our range of temporary fencing accessories, we supply Fence Ballast Blocks that can be used to weigh down the fence panels in windy conditions. We also offer an anti-lift device that prevents people from attempting to lift or move the temporary fencing.
