Often referred to as a backstay, the stabilising bar is positioned at an angle and secured in place using a block tray (sold separately). It is then affixed to the temporary fencing panel using couplers positioned between adjoining panels. By introducing an extra component that keeps the fence firmly in place, the stabilising bar helps prevent unauthorised removal or displacement of the fencing structure. For an even greater level of security, anti-tamper couplers can be used. These high-security fasteners require a specialist anti-tamper spanner for removal, making it more difficult for intruders to tamper with the fencing setup.
