Temporary Fencing Couplers are essential when joining multiple temporary fencing panels together. They are used to ensure that panels remain continuous and secure, as temporary fencing can only work effectively when assembled safely. Our temporary fencing clips are manufactured from steel and are very durable.
Each coupler has two strong metal pieces. They are made to fit tightly around the outer frame bars of two nearby fencing panels. A central bolt holds the coupler together, providing a tight and reliable connection when properly tightened. For stability, it is recommended to double clip the panels using two couplers at each connection point. This not only enhances the strength of the fence but also increases its resistance to tampering and accidental disassembly.
Our standard couplers work well with all our temporary fencing panels, temporary fence gates, stabilising bars, and accessories. Whether you're using standard, heavy-duty, or anti-climb panels, the couplers ensure a secure connection. They can also be used to attach stabilising bars for added stability and can accommodate accessories like anti lift devices and gates, providing a flexible and reliable solution for any fencing setup. This compatibility ensures that your entire temporary fencing system works seamlessly together, offering optimal security and durability.
Installing the temporary fence couplers is straightforward. Begin by aligning the panels to be joined and placing the coupler around the adjoining frame bars. Insert the bolt through the central hole of the coupler and tighten it using the appropriate tool, such as a standard coupler spanner. Properly securing the couplers is essential to prevent gaps, maintain the integrity of the fencing line, and ensure the panels remain stable during use.
Along with the temporary fence clips, it is a good idea to buy a coupler spanner. This tool makes assembly easier and helps you tighten the connections quickly and well. A well-built system improves security and helps the fence resist weather conditions, like strong winds and impacts.
For sites located in high-risk areas where enhanced security is paramount, Anti-Tamper Couplers are an excellent alternative. These couplers function similarly to standard couplers but require a specialised Anti-Tamper Coupler Spanner for installation and removal. This design makes it hard for unauthorised people to tamper with or remove the couplers. They cannot be easily taken off with regular tools. This adds extra protection for your site.
