Made from 100% recycled Therma Plastic material, these incredibly strong and robust end sections are used with the Speed Bump Middle Sections to make a full speed bump. These are ideal for use in high foot traffic areas to greatly reduce vehicle speeds and increase safety especially around schools and play areas. These ends are available in two heights either 50mm or 75mm and in two colours, either black or yellow for increased visibility
Used in conjunction with the Speed Bump Middle Sections, these end sections attach to both ends of the middle section to create a full speed bump. These speed bumps can then be used to control the speeds of vehicles, requiring drivers to slow down and helping to reduce the number of road based collisions and injuries, especially around areas with a high level of foot traffic such as schools and outside of parks.
When creating a speed bump, two end sections are required per Speed Bump Middle Section. As with the middle sections, these ends are available in two heights, 50mm or 75mm, the height of which determines the speeds at which the bumps can be travelled over safely.
Each of the Speed Bump End Sections have been constructed from an incredibly strong and tough 100% recycled Therma Plastic material and can support weights of up to 40,000kg. They are also available in two colours, either black or a high visibility yellow which can help to increase visibility and driver awareness especially in conditions where visibility may be reduced due to low light conditions such as poor weather.
The main difference between these end sections is the height, which plays a major role in how quickly vehicles can pass over them. Increasing the height of the speed bump reduces the speed that the oncoming vehicle will travel.
The use of speed bump systems to control the speed of traffic are ideal for sections of road which may experience a high level of foot traffic, especially people crossing the road, which tends to be around public spaces such as parks and around schools. These speed bumps are also suitable for use on construction or industrial sites to control vehicle speeds and reduce the risks of collisions with both pedestrians and on site equipment.
The speed Bump End Sections are suitable for installation on either concrete or tarmacked road surfaces, where each section will need to be securely bolted in place with the use of M12 Asphalt Road Fixing Kits.
