ProFence® 868 Mesh sets the benchmark for security excellence in First Fence's product line-up, proudly bearing an impressive SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 rating that surpasses the capabilities of standard mesh alternatives.
In situations demanding the safeguarding of high-value assets or requiring heightened security measures, this certified welded security mesh system emerges as the ultimate choice. The prestigious SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 accreditation subjects security gates and fencing to rigorous scrutiny, assessing their resilience against hostile entry attempts. It evaluates the equipment's ability to withstand forced entry, subjecting each component to testing with tools such as bolt cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers. This type of tool is easily concealed by a would-be intruder and it is important to assess how quickly someone could use these tools to effect an entry.
Moreover, the process assesses the determination of potential intruders, measuring their willingness to invest time in a breach attempt. With its coveted SR1 (A1) rating, this mesh system offers robust resistance against a sustained sixty-second attack with Toolkit A. These crucial seconds could prove pivotal, allowing security teams to detect an attack and respond before the boundary is breached.
The ProFence® line-up from First Fence offers a diverse selection of fence kits, including the 358 Prison Mesh and 868 Twin Mesh, each available in a range of different heights. Complementing these options are single and double gates designed to seamlessly integrate with the ProFence® fencing system. This product range earns its distinction as an exceptional security solution, firmly establishing its presence in the revered Red Book, thanks to the rigorous SR1 testing process.
The 3.0m x 1.2m Wide ProFence® 868 Mesh Pedestrian Gate Leaf Kit represents a complete security solution. It includes a sliding gate leaf, catch and hinge post, three SR1 gate eyes, and Ribbed Inserts for the posts and gate frame.
Crafted from high quality steel, which has been hot dip galvanised to ISO 1461 standards. Each gate is then coated with a polyester powder coating, this gate is tailor-made for permanent outdoor use. This design guarantees substantial protection against rust, corrosion, and the rigors of wear-and-tear, ensuring long-lasting stability.
The mesh fill of the ProFence® 868 Mesh gate features the distinctive 868 Twin Mesh, characterised by 6mm vertical wires intersecting with 8mm horizontal wires. This mesh configuration offers outstanding visibility while effectively preventing the passage of stolen items or unauthorised individuals.
Safety remains paramount with the inclusion of three gate eyes, ensuring that even if one hinge point were to fail, the gate remains secure, preventing dangerous drops and potential injuries. Each gate eye is securely fastened with a shear nut, rendering it tamper-proof once in place.
For added security, the gate can be firmly secured in the closed position using the sliding latch bolt.
ProFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees.
The Prodence® gate offers installation flexibility, available in either a dig-in or bolt-down format. It's crucial to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt-down option comes with four ground anchor bolts for each post, while the dig-in post option requires Post Mix, available as an additional purchase. For a 3.0m high gate, it is recommended to use four bags of Post Mix per post, ensuring a rock-solid foundation. It is suggested that you use either C20 or C25 post mix.
