Features and Benefits
Our double leaf gate offers exceptional flexibility in access control. Crafted from top-quality steel, which has been hot dip galvanised, compliant to ISO 1461 standards. They are further protected by a polyester powder coating, available in various colours, for enhanced defence against wear, damage, rust, and corrosion.
The comprehensive kit includes gate leaves, two hinge gate posts, two drop bolts, six adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed inserts for the gate frame and posts. The gate leaves feature an 868 mesh infill, a well-established security mesh configuration with 6mm thick vertical wires and 8mm thick horizontals, making it highly resistant to cutting.
This robust mesh is ideal for scenarios requiring clear perimeter visibility or integration with CCTV systems.
For added security, our gate kit incorporates six adjustable gate eyes, ensuring gate stability even in the unlikely event of a hinge failure. Each adjustable gate eye bolt is securely fastened with a snap-off nut, minimising the risk of post-installation removal. There is additional safety with Two Drop Bolts.
Installation Made Easy
Our SR1-rated gate kit is available in both dig-in and bolt-down formats, making it suitable for various ground conditions. Whether it's grass or other soft terrain, which requires the dig-in option, or concrete and other solid ground types, which need bolt-down posts, we have you covered.
The bolt-down kit includes essential ground anchor bolts, while the dig-in kit requires the addition of Post Mix to your order. We recommend four bags per post for optimal installation. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.
Versatile Access Control - Our gate is designed for both pedestrian access and small vehicles such as forklifts and is one of the largest widths in the range. The sliding latch bolt keeps the leaves securely closed, and the drop bolts ensure firm leaf placement. You have the flexibility to open one or both leaves to meet your specific needs.
A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.
