What is SR1 (A1) rated security fencing?
PaliFence® provides a cost-effective and remarkably robust security palisade system, certified to meet the rigorous LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) standards. This certification guarantees a one-minute delay against opportunistic attacks using Toolkit A, including discreet hand tools such as glass cutters, pliers, spanners, and bolt-cutters. The SR1 ratings and compliance set the benchmark for thwarting attempted forced entry into facilities safeguarding high-value assets. This one-minute delay offers on-site security teams a crucial opportunity to intercept intruders before they breach the security perimeter.
Features and Benefits
The End Post Kit in the PaliFence® security-rated system comprises an IPE post, Fish Plates, and accompanying fixings. The bolts feature anti-vibration technology, discouraging unauthorised removal attempts. Powder-coated alternatives are provided. The combination of galvanisation and powder coating guarantees outstanding resistance to rust and corrosion, making it ideal for durable outdoor applications.
This Post Kit, available in both dig-in and bolt-down varieties, is the perfect solution for when you need to create an end to your fencing run.
How to install
This End post kit is approached in the same way as a standard palisade post in that it is concreted into softer ground or bolted down to hard ground surfaces. For the dig-in variety, it is suggested to use either a C20 or C25 post mix and to use 2 bags per post for a secure installation. The bolt-down format comes with four M16 x 125mm ground anchors for each post.
PaliFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 30°, and when correctly installed, the fencing system will give a 50mm ground clearance.
