PaliFence® is First Fence's premier security palisade fencing and has an SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 rating, which gives it a much higher specification than a standard palisade product. This security-rated fencing is ideal for sites that house high-value assets or require heightened protection, making it an ideal fencing solution.
The LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) certification evaluates the capacity of physical security products to withstand unauthorised attempts at access with hostile intent. The PaliFence® series has endured rigorous testing to gain its accreditation, which signifies a sixty second delay against this type of attack. These valuable seconds grant an on-site security team the time to detect any breach and respond swiftly.
The PaliFence® Palisade range features fencing and post kits, in both bolt-down and dig-in formats, as well as a full range of gates to create the perfect access point in your fencing system.

The PaliFence® LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) Double Leaf gate, standing at 1.8m tall, comes in widths ranging from 2.0 to 10.0m, making it ideal for many types of situations, whether it's serving as an entry point for pedestrians or providing access for vehicles. A double leaf gate offers unparalleled flexibility in access control, giving you the option to operate one or both leaves.
The PaliFence 1.8m Double Leaf Gate Kit includes two gate leaves, two hinge posts and six adjustable gate eyes. These six gate eyes ensure compliance with BS EN 12604 standards in that, in the unlikely event that one hinge should fail, the gate would remain secure, preventing damage or injury. Each gate eye is fastened with a shear nut, ensuring that it is tamper-proof once installed.
Manufactured from hot-dip galvanised steel that adheres to ISO 1461 standards, this double leaf gate is ideal for permanent outdoor installation. Galvanising offers the product resilience against rust and corrosion, ensuring a long, useful life. This gate is also available with a polyester powder coating, which gives it a lovely, sleek finish and imparts some additional protection too.
This security-rated palisade fencing gate comes with three cross rails on each leaf, the positioning is important, with one at the top, middle and bottom. This arrangement reduces the bending of the pales when under attack. The bottom rail is positioned very low, so even if breached, this gap is still too small for a person to get through. The fixings for the gate are galvanised and patch treated, incorporating an anti-vibration technology that deters the unauthorised removal of nuts and bolts during an attack.
The gate is secured in the closed position with the sliding latch bolt. Choose from our recommended range of Squire Stronghold approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks. Note that for the gates to be compliant with LPS 1175 standards one of these padlocks must be fitted. The double leaf gate comes with two drop bolts.
Installation
The PaliFence® gate is available in a dig-in or bolt-down format, you will need to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt down option comes with four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts for each post, Post Mix (C20/25) is required for the dig in post option and is available as an extra purchase. It is recommended that you use four bags per post and that you use either C20 or C25 post mix. This gate has a 50mm ground clearance.
