The Microlite Traffic Cone Light represents the next generation of safety lighting, combining innovation, reliability, and robust design. Developed to fit securely onto all standard circular traffic cones, the Microlite is an essential addition to any traffic management, maintenance, or construction site where visibility and safety are top priorities.
This second-generation design improves upon previous models by replacing the traditional metal band fitting with an ultra-durable elastomer attachment, ensuring a tighter and more reliable grip on the cone. The elastomer is resistant to wear, weather, and impact, providing excellent performance in demanding outdoor environments. This updated design not only enhances the light’s stability but also makes it much quicker and easier to install—ideal for fast-paced work settings where efficiency matters.
The plastic housing of the Microlite has been redesigned from the ground up. It offers the same outstanding illumination properties users have come to expect, while now being even more compact and robust. This makes the light both practical and resilient, capable of withstanding the rigours of daily use on busy roads, construction sites, and other high-risk environments.
The Microlite features a 360-degree lens that provides complete all-round visibility. This ensures that the light can be seen from every angle, effectively warning approaching motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians of potential hazards ahead. The steady flashing pattern helps draw attention to the area, improving awareness and reducing the likelihood of accidents or collisions.
Operation of the Microlite is simple and intuitive—users can twist the lens to switch it on or off, making it easy to activate even when wearing gloves or working in low-light conditions. The light comes fitted with a bolt and separate bracket for secure assembly onto a cone, ensuring it remains firmly in place even in windy or challenging conditions.
The Microlite operates using 6V AT2 PJ996 batteries (available separately – see related items). These reliable batteries offer excellent runtime, allowing the light to provide consistent illumination for extended periods. Please note that batteries are not included with the product.
Microlite Options: With or Without Photocell
The Microlite Without Photocell version is designed to flash continuously, providing a constant warning signal regardless of lighting conditions. This makes it an ideal choice for 24-hour worksites, where visibility and safety are critical both day and night. The continuous flashing helps maintain awareness of hazards and keeps both workers and the public safe throughout the duration of the project.
