Hire Standard Manual Raise Barrier

Manual raise arm barriers provide a cost-effective means of controlling access to your site's car park as well as preventing access for unauthorised vehicles. Available in a range of lengths from 3.0m to 7.0m, allowing you to control and limit access for a wide range of car parks and industrial sites. Constructed from high-quality galvanised steel and aluminium and featuring a safe and easy-to-use manual lifting mechanism, these are an ideal choice for car park security.

What is a Manual Raise Arm Barrier?

Manual Raise Arm Barriers are a low-maintenance and cost-effective solution to control access to your site or areas which may be off limits to certain personnel. Consisting of a bolted-down steel pedestal and an aluminium arm which comes in a range of sizes from 3.0m to 7.0m, these barriers are quick and easy to install. Unlike electronic automatic gates, they require no power sources, making them ideal for more rural locations or sites where the infrastructure for power is not available. Manual Raise Arm Barriers are typically used in situations where the arm can be left in either the horizontal or the upright position for long periods of time.

Unlike many other types of manual raise arm barriers, which often come with counterbalanced ‘fishtails’, however, these barriers come with gas-assisted dampers, which make them easy to operate, enabling consistent use through the day and without excessive amounts of effort by the user. The barrier has a smooth, controlled operation, and the two gas struts offer stability and security.

These barriers also feature ergonomic grip handles, which make it incredibly comfortable to operate this gate in either the opening or closing process. When the gate is no longer in use, it is possible to lock the barrier with the use of a padlock

Are Manual Raise Arm Barriers easy to install?

The manual Raise Arm Barriers are incredibly easy to install; each pedestal is supplied ready assembled. They simply need to be bolted down, levelled, and the pole fitted. After this, they are ready to be tested and used to secure your site.

Why use a Manual Raise Arm Barrier?

There are many benefits to using a Manual Raise Arm Barrier, including:

  • Fast and easy installation: These barriers are supplied with a “plug and play” system, meaning that they just need to be bolted down and levelled, after which they are ready to be used
  • Many lengths available: Available in lengths from 3.0m to 7.0m, allowing incredibly wide entry or exit points to be covered
  • Gas strut operation: To make these manual raise barriers as easy to use as possible, each is fitted with two gas struts, which allow for smooth opening and closing. Only one person is required to operate these barriers.

Please note the Manual Raise Arm Barriers are available in bolt-down only. We would recommend 4x M16 ground anchor bolts for the pivot pose base plate and then 4x M12 ground anchor bolts for the end rest.
