Available in various heights and widths, with options for single or double leaf configurations, these gate kits not only serve as secure entry and exit points for play areas but also enhance the overall aesthetics of the space.

The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Double Leaf Gate Kit, having dimensions of 1.0m in height and 3.0m in width, offers versatile access control. Despite its slightly lower height, it excels in providing exceptional entry control, allowing the operation of either one or both leaves. Opting for the double leaf format? It's advisable to include a locking dropbolt, available as an additional purchase option.

Our EnviroRail® Double Leaf Gates offer a fully modular and relatively lightweight solution, ensuring a hassle-free installation of various gate hardware. With universal handing, these gates provide on-site flexibility, eliminating the need for fixed left or right-hand specifications. The modular design allows easy adjustments in case of gate movement, providing a level of flexibility that fixed hardware cannot match.

Distinguished by a more eco-friendly production technique, the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate Kit stands out from standard railings, making it the preferred choice for environmentally conscious customers. This innovative method involves custom laser-cut components pressed together to form robust bonds, significantly reducing the reliance on energy-intensive welding.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

Each EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is crafted from pre-galvanised steel adhering to BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder for durability and resilience. The double-layered protection ensures lasting functionality, offering resistance against harsh outdoor elements and preserving its aesthetic charm for years.

The double-leaf gate kit includes two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf, the gate complies with BS 12604, ensuring safety even in the rare event of hinge failure. The gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, creating a fixed-axis hinge that eliminates up and down movement.

Pre-drilled holes simplify the attachment of gate eyes and a drop bolt, accompanied by plastic plugs to cover unused holes on the gate attack face, ensuring a polished look and preventing water accumulation. Compatible with our security locks, the gate allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, facilitating an easy installation process. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Safety Compliance

The gate rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and the top bows of 90mm prevent wrist or neck trapping. The rail positioning allows parents, guardians, or supervisors for easy supervision of children while playing. This enhances overall safety and reduces the risk of accidents. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate fully comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.

The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the single leaf gate opening 90° in and out.

Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
