First Fence proudly introduces the EnviroRail® Bow Top Gate series, designed to perfectly complement our EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing collection. The Bow Top Railing boasts a distinctive curved design atop the rail, blending elegance with functionality as a robust barrier. This style of fencing and gates has its origins in the 19th Century when it was used to enclose gardens and residences where it was important for it to look appealing but without being overly imposing. Despite its classic appeal, this product excels in both durability and security, making it a versatile fencing solution suitable for parks, schools, commercial, and residential properties. It ensures safety while enhancing the aesthetic appeal of any space.
As part of our EnviroRail® range, First Fence presents gate and railing panel kits. Our gates come in single and double leaf options, offering a wide array of polyester powder-coated colors. These gates can be adapted for both bolt down or dig-in formats, ensuring compatibility with various ground types. The EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing Double Leaf Gate sets itself apart in the market through its environmentally conscious manufacturing process. Utilising a low-weld technique, this system incorporates custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components, significantly reducing reliance on energy-intensive welding. This eco-friendly choice resonates with customers concerned about minimising environmental impact during production.
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates exhibit exceptional durability, enduring prolonged exposure to outdoor elements, guaranteeing years of reliable functionality.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The EnviroRail® Gates offer a fully modular, lightweight solution, enabling swift installation for various hardware needs. Universally handed, they provide on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications, simplifying decision-making during installation. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.
Each gate arrives pre-drilled, streamlining the attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face. A locking drop bolt is available as an add-on purchase and is recommended for a double leaf gate. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
The kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts and six adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability even if one hinge fails. Furthermore, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post. Plastic inserts for the open box sections are also included.
Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits are offered in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for a very secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using eight M16 x 125mm anchor bolts which are available to add to your order. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
