First Fence is proud to reveal the EnviroRail® Bow Top Gate range, designed to fully complement the EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing portfolio. Bow Top Railing is a very recognisable, attractive and decorative form of fencing, the curvature at the top of the rail panel enhances the overall aesthetics of the structure while serving a practical role. Despite this ornate nature, this product type also serves as a helpful barrier with a range of implementations from parks and schools to residential properties. They ensure the safety of public areas while preserving an inviting and accessible ambiance.
EnviroRail® from First Fence features both gate and railing panel kits. The gates are available as a single and double leaf and in a wide range of polyester powder coated colours.
Features and Benefits
EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing resembles a standard bay but stands out due to its eco-friendly manufacturing process. Employing a low-weld method, this system utilises custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components that form robust bonds when pressed together, eliminating the need for energy-intensive welding.
The gates are crafted from pre-galvanised steel, meeting BS 10346 standards, and then coated with polyester powder for durability against outdoor elements.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates offer a modular, lightweight design with effortless installation, being universally handed for on-site flexibility in choosing the best orientation. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.
Each gate arrives with pre-drilled frame holes for hassle-free installation of hinges and drop bolts. The gate includes plastic hole plugs for unused holes.
The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The welded gate hooks on the gate post enhance security, these are fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.
This gate kit offers various height and width options, available in dig-in or bolt-down versions suitable for different installation locations. The dig-in version requires Post Mix for softer ground, while the bolt-down option uses anchor bolts for harder surfaces. Four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts are recommended for the bolt down method.
This gate kit is compatible with our security locks and when installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
All EnviroRail gates feature a UniSlide kit, a secure and long-lasting sliding system that ensures seamless functionality. The Single Leaf Kit includes a retainer plate and guide plate for accurate positioning, a sturdy slider with an handle set and fixings.
