Size 7 Tube Double Sided Mesh Panel Clip (A72) Key Clamp Fitting
A Double-Sided Mesh Panel Clip, or A72 fitting as it is also known, functions in a similar way to the Single Sided Mesh Panel Clip (A70), but with the difference that it can allow mesh panels to be attached to both sides of a tube within guardrail structures. It can fix the outer rods, which should be no more than 8mm in thickness, of the mesh panels with two ‘horseshoe’ shaped pieces that come with the fitting. It is also able to fix panels of other materials such as plywood or perspex, as long as the thickness is no more than 10mm, but the two small ‘horseshoe’ parts will not be needed for this. You will need to ensure that the Double-Sided Mesh Panel Clips are spaced no more than 450mm apart.
A Single Sided Mesh Panel Clip (A70) can be used if a mesh panel only needs to be connected to a single side of a tube.
Supplied in galvanised steel, the A72 has an added layer of protection against elements such as corrosion and weathering, this provides it with a longer lifespan without the need for frequent maintenance.
Please Note: One Size 7 Tube with an outside diameter of 42.4mm is required and can pass through the centre of this fitting.
