Compatible with | Size 7 (42.4mm) Tube |
Material | Galvanised Steel |
A Single Sided Mesh Panel Clip, also known as an A70 fitting, can allow mesh panels to be attached to the side of a tube within a guardrail application; it can fix mesh panels where rods have a thickness of no more than 8mm. The fitting has a small piece that is ‘horseshoe’ in shape, which fixes to the outer rod of a mesh panel. Without using this small ‘horseshoe’ shaped end, the fitting can be used for attaching panels made from plywood or perspex, but these types of panels should not give a greater thickness of 10mm. Single Sided Mesh Panel Clips should have a distance of 450mm maximum between each of them when used in a structure. They are also able to be attached to a structure that already exists.
A Double-Sided Mesh Panel Clip (A72) is available for attaching mesh panels to both sides of a tube.
Supplied in galvanised steel, the A70 key clamp fitting has an added layer of protection and resistance against the damaging effects of corrosion and weathering, this provides the fitting with a longer lifespan without the need for frequent maintenance.
Please Note: A tube will run through the Single Sided Mesh Panel Clip and this tube should be Size 7 and have an outside diameter of 42.4mm.
