Size 7 Tube Double Male Inline Swivel (A38) Key Clamp Fitting
A Double Male Inline Swivel, or an A38 Fitting as it is also known, works in a similar way to the Single Male Swivel (A36) in that it can be used to attach signs or flat sheets to a guardrail structure, although it is important to think about the application’s load bearing requirements beforehand. This feature opens up a number of customisation opportunities, allowing you to incorporate safety signage or a company logo into your guardrail or handrail system.
When the A38 Fitting is used in conjunction with the Female Swivel (A42) Key Clamp, the Double Inline Swivel (A46) Tube Clamp Fitting is formed.
It is strongly advised that guardrail and handrails structures do not consist of just swivel type tube clamp fittings, as this may cause weaknesses within the system and therefore reduce the levels of safety and pose a risk of injury to its users.
Please note: This tube clamp enables one Size 7 Tube, that has a diameter of 42.4mm, to run through the fitting.
With only a Hex Key required, no expensive tools or specific skills are needed for the installation of the A38 Key Clamp Fitting. The Hex Key, which is available to purchase separately, is used to tighten the Grub Screws and ensure that the guardrail or handrail structure is secured firmly in place.
