Product Description

Concrete Post to Suit 1.2m Chain Link Fencing System

Crafted for durability and long-term performance, our pre-cast concrete posts offer a solid and dependable foundation for chain link fencing across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Engineered to endure harsh weather, they are highly resistant to rust, rot, and corrosion—making them an excellent choice for coastal regions, moisture-rich environments, and high-security installations.

Key Features

  • Strong & Durable: Manufactured from concrete to ensure maximum strength and long-term stability.
  • Weather & Corrosion Resistant: Unlike some metal alternatives, these posts will not rust, rot, or deteriorate over time.
  • Low Maintenance: Requires no painting or frequent upkeep, making it a convenient, hassle-free option.
  • Secure & Tamper-Resistant: Designed for security, the solid concrete structure is difficult to cut, break, or tamper with.
  • Wind-Resistant: The heavy-duty build provides excellent resistance to strong winds, ideal for exposed or storm-prone locations.
  • Fire-Resistant: Naturally non-combustible, making it well-suited for use in areas with high fire risk.

When to Choose Concrete Posts Over Steel

  • Coastal or Humid Environments: Ideal for locations where corrosion is a significant risk due to salt air or high moisture levels.
  • High-Security Sites: Offers enhanced protection against tampering, vandalism, and unauthorised entry.
  • Permanent Installations: Perfect for long-term fencing solutions requiring durability and minimal upkeep over decades.
  • Fire-Risk Areas: Unlike steel, concrete remains structurally sound under extreme heat, making it suitable for fire-prone zones.
  • Severe Weather Conditions: Engineered for stability, concrete posts perform exceptionally well in high winds and harsh climates.

Post Styles

End Posts: Used to begin or terminate a fencing run.

The intermediate post adds structural support, preventing sagging and helping to distribute tension evenly across the fence.  Intermediate posts are recommended to be placed at 3.0m centres along the fencing structure between the end or corner posts.

Two-Way Posts: Ensure consistent tension throughout long, straight fencing runs. Use every 30m in place of one intermediate post.

Corner Posts: Designed for when the fence changes direction.  Tension is absorbed, ensuring the fence remains structurally sound.
