Overview

Wellspring Academy Trust were trying to find a security fencing and gate solution to add to Phoenix Park Academy’s current fencing system.

Challenges

• Aesthetics: The Academy already had green palisade fencing around the majority of the area; they just wanted to extend this fencing and ensure that the new system blended nicely with the surroundings and the existing palisade.
• Security: As the fencing was for a school premises, the solution needed to provide a good level of security to make sure that children, staff and visitors were safe.
• Durability: The fencing and gate system needed to be robust and withstand adverse weather conditions so that it was long-lasting and didn’t require maintenance or replacement after a short amount of time.
• Cost: Due to budget restraints, the fencing and gate system needed to be a cost-effective solution, without compromising on security.

Solution

The Academy decided to go with our stripe mesh fencing, powder coated in green. This solution fit nicely with their current green palisade fencing, tying the whole system together nicely and providing the visual aesthetic that they were looking for.

Stripe mesh is considered a high level security fencing solution as the V-shape beams with added 3D effect draw more attention, and can act as a threat deterrent against anyone trying to gain access without authorisation. The striped mesh fencing is also difficult to climb, making it ideal for this type of setting.

Manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel and powder coated, the stripe mesh fencing and gate are robust and will withstand the test of time that the school were looking for.

The Academy decided to go with our twin mesh single leaf gate to match the mesh stripe fencing and to provide a high-quality, durable access point for the school. Along with the fencing, the full system acts as a deterrent against unwanted visitors.
