Overview

Vapex were looking for a custom mesh fencing and gate solution to suit their requirements, to secure the back of their shop premises.

Challenges

• Durability: They needed the fencing to be robust and withstand a range of adverse weather conditions, so that it would be a long lasting system.
• Security: As the fencing was going around the back of the shop premises, they wanted it to provide a good level of security and act as a deterrent against intruders.
• Custom requirement: The shop needed the gates to open inwards by 180 degrees and uphill.
• Install: The client was looking for someone to install the products on their behalf, as they wanted to make sure the finish was professional and that everything was correct.

Solutions

As our fencing and gate systems can be customised to meet any specific requirements, the shop decided to go with our Mesh Fencing and matching Gate.

Manufactured from high quality galvanised steel and powder coated for extra resilience, enabled the shop to have the durable, secure fencing system that they were looking for.

In terms of their custom requirement, we made sure that the gate was manufactured to open inwards 180 degrees, and the left hand leaf was raised to facilitate this. In addition, one of the posts was manufactured to be longer so that it matched the right hand leaf. Finally, we added an angled tube at the bottom to block the gap to prevent anyone from accessing underneath the gate.

Our professional and friendly installation team were able to help the owner of the shop and get this custom gate fitted and installed when required.
