Oakbank allotment society was looking to replace its existing concrete posts and panels.
Over the years, the allotment compost bays that were built around 15 years ago, using concrete posts and panels, have been damaged and have been falling over. They decided it was time to replace them and get them updated.
After looking for a like for like replacement, they realised that the allotment community were getting older and could no longer lift or manoeuvre the concrete posts and panels, so they had to look for an alternative.
In addition to the issue above, the cost of replacing the panels was also a key factor.
After finding our ex-hoarding panels at a competitive price, Chairman Colin discussed with the rest of the society and got the go-ahead, and they are really pleased with the outcome. They will be using this method to replace all of the bays in the next couple of years.
“Thank you for the hoarding and the prompt way in which our order was dealt with.”
Colin Wagstaff – Oakbank Allotment Society
Our Hoarding panels are a robust solution that provides a high level of protection. They are easy to install, which was a bonus for the society and being designed for prolonged outdoor use, they are the ideal solution for the allotment.
As well as new panels, we also supply ex-hire hoarding panels; some of these have slight cosmetic damage from use on hire projects, but they are much more cost-effective for the allotment society.
