The Apollo® 1.8m x 3.5m Single Leaf 868 Twin Mesh Gate Kit is built to offer a strong, safe and secure access point for locations requiring extra clearance, whether for service vehicles, multi-user access lanes, or high-traffic pedestrian zones. Its tall frame and 3.5m width make it suitable for use in environments such as schools, commercial properties, parks, and industrial estates.

868 Twin Mesh Infill
This gate features 868 twin wire mesh, made from two 8mm horizontal wires with a 6mm vertical wire running in between them. The result is a tough, tamper-resistant panel that stands up to cutting, impact, and vandalism attempts.
The openings within the mesh panel are small enough to make ineffective foot and finger holds for potential intruders attempting to gain access to your site by climbing. The apertures are still large enough, however, to provide a high level of visibility for additional security systems such as CCTV.
Durable Steel Frame & Professional Finish
Manufactured from high-grade pre-galvanised steel, the frame is finished with a polyester powder coating that resists corrosion, wear, and weather damage. Available in a wide selection of RAL colours, this finish allows you to match your gate to existing fencing or create a visually distinctive entrance.
All corners of the gate leaf are neatly mitred, eliminating sharp edges and giving the gate a smooth, professional finish. This also helps improve on-site safety for staff and visitors alike.
Locking Drop Bolt
Included as standard is a locking drop bolt, designed to provide secure positioning of the gate leaf when open or closed:

Suitable for A Variety of Ground Types
Whether your gate will be installed on concrete or natural ground, you can select the appropriate post type:
- Bolt-Down Posts: Best for hardstanding areas such as concrete or tarmac. Requires 4x M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post (sold separately).
- Dig-In Posts: Ideal for turf or soft ground. Use with Post Mix to secure in place (please see recommended quantities when placing your order).
Triple Hinge Support System
This 3.5m-wide gate includes a triple hinge arrangement to improve weight distribution and operational safety. Should one hinge fail, the remaining two are capable of bearing the gate’s weight, helping prevent injury or damage. This system also allows for smoother movement of the larger gate leaf.
