Renowned for its durable construction and versatile design, the 1.5m high x 4.5m wide Twin Mesh Single Leaf Gate is ideal for a wide range of applications, from securing public buildings and industrial sites to protecting school grounds and sports facilities. The Apollo 1.5m High x 4.5m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit is a practical and dependable solution for sites that require controlled pedestrian access with enhanced perimeter protection. 

The gate features a robust 868 twin wire mesh infill, made from 6mm vertical wires and twin 8mm horizontal wires. This structure delivers excellent rigidity and helps resist tampering, vandalism and forced entry. The tight mesh pattern is anti-climb and difficult to cut, while also preventing items being passed through. Despite its strength, the open mesh still allows for clear visibility, which improves safety and supervision across the site without compromising on appearance.

Designed to integrate effortlessly with Twin Wire Mesh fencing, this gate helps to maintain a consistent and professional finish across your perimeter. It is also fully compatible with other fencing types such as V mesh and Safe Top mesh, offering flexibility when upgrading or extending an existing system.

The steel construction is pre-galvanised to BS EN 10346 to protect against rust and corrosion, and finished with a high-quality polyester powder coating to BS 13438. This finish is available in a choice of standard RAL colours and offers an attractive appearance while providing long-lasting protection against the elements. Non-standard colours can also be supplied on request for a more customised look.

This single leaf gate is ideal for pedestrian entry and exit, helping to separate foot traffic from vehicle zones and create safe, well-managed access points. It can be hung to open either left or right depending on your requirements, offering additional flexibility during installation. The gate is available with either bolt down posts for hard surfaces like concrete, or dig-in posts for softer ground such as grass or soil.

Each gate is supplied with a modular sliding latch as standard, which can be secured with a padlock. For sites requiring extra security, the latch can be upgraded to a digital gate lock or a quick-exit digital locking system. This ensures greater control over site access and enhances overall perimeter safety.

The Apollo 1.5m High x 4.5m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit includes a gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, adjustable gate eyes, sliding latch, drop bolt and ribbed plastic post and frame inserts. Post mix or ground anchor bolts are not included but can be purchased separately if required.

This design ensures that in the unlikely event one hinge was to fail, the gate leaf remains securely in place, preventing it from falling and causing potential injury or damage. This crucial third hinge provides the necessary redundancy to meet the stringent safety requirement that a gate should not collapse due to a single point of failure.
