Our Apollo gates are engineered for superior safety and full compliance with the BS EN 12604 standard, featuring a robust three-hinge system. This design ensures that in the unlikely event one hinge was to fail, the gate leaf remains securely in place, preventing it from falling and causing potential injury or damage. This crucial third hinge provides the necessary redundancy to meet the stringent safety requirement that a gate should not collapse due to a single point of failure.

Key Features:

868 Twin Mesh Construction: The gate infill is made using 868 twin wire mesh, which consists of 6mm vertical wires and dual 8mm horizontal wires. This makes the structure rigid, hard to cut, and resistant to climbing, offering a high level of security for any access point.

3.5m Width for Broad Access: With a generous 3.5 metre width, this gate is designed to accommodate wider pedestrian traffic and allow access for small maintenance vehicle and other equipment.

Durable Frame with Mitred Corners: The gate frame is made from high-strength steel with mitred corners, improving durability and structural integrity, especially important for gates of this width.

Pre-Galvanised & Powder Coated: The gate is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 standards and finished with a tough polyester powder coating to BS 13438. This offers excellent corrosion resistance and a sleek finish, available in a choice of standard RAL colours. Custom colours are also available on request.

Universal Hanging Direction: The gate can be hung to open either left or right, giving you flexibility during installation to suit the layout of your site.

Secure Modular Latch: Fitted with a modular sliding latch as standard, the gate can be padlocked for added security. If more control is needed, it can easily be upgraded to a digital gate lock or quick-exit digital locking system.

Installation Options: Supplied with your choice of bolt down or dig in posts, allowing you to install the gate on a variety of surfaces including concrete or soil.

Complete Kit (Excluding Fixings): This gate kit includes the gate leaf, hinge and catch posts, sliding latch, drop bolt, adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed plastic inserts. Post mix or ground anchor bolts are not included and must be purchased separately.
