If you need a strong, secure, and wide access point, the Apollo 3.0m High x 9.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit is a great choice. Built to last and designed to match our Apollo mesh fencing range, this gate is ideal for locations that require high levels of security and access for large vehicles or busy foot traffic.
At the heart of the Apollo gate is 868 twin wire mesh. This means it uses thick 6mm vertical wires and two strong 8mm horizontal wires. The twin wire design makes the gate tough to cut through and difficult to climb, helping to keep your site safe from intruders or vandals. The close wire spacing also means it’s hard to pass objects through the gate, yet it still provides excellent visibility, perfect for areas monitored by CCTV.
Made from pre-galvanised steel to British Standard BS EN 10346, this gate is built to withstand the elements. It’s also powder coated to BS EN 13438, giving it extra protection against rust, weather, and wear. The smooth finish looks smart and is available in a variety of colours to match your fence or brand.
With a total width of 9.0 metres, this double leaf gate allows easy access for large vehicles like lorries, farm machinery, or emergency services. It comes with adjustable hinges and opens up to 180 degrees, making it practical for a range of entry needs. The gate includes a sliding latch which can be padlocked, or upgraded to a digital lock or quick-release option for better security.
For additional safety for users and staff, the Apollo 3.0m x 9.0m double leaf gates feature 3 hinges per gate leaf. This triple hinge design is compliant to BS EN 12604, and meets the recommended specifications set out by the DHF to prevent a gate leaf falling in the unlikely and unfortunate event of a single hinge failure
Each gate leaf has mitred corners for added strength and a neater look. These reinforced corners help the gate stand up to regular use, even in busy or demanding environments.
This kit includes everything you need to install your double leaf gate, except for post mix or anchor bolts, which will depend on your ground type. You can choose dig-in or bolt-down posts based on whether you're installing on soft or hard ground.
