The Apollo 1.8m High x 2.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit is a secure and durable entry solution designed for sites where higher perimeter fencing is required without the need for wide vehicle access. Perfect for schools, public buildings, sports facilities, commercial premises, and recreational areas, this gate combines security, strength, and visual appeal in a compact, easy-to-integrate design.
Standing at 1.8 metres in height, this gate provides increased deterrence and protection for properties that need to restrict access or safeguard assets, while the 2.0 metre width makes it ideal for pedestrian entry points or controlled small vehicle access. The gate features Apollo’s trusted 868 twin wire mesh panel system, manufactured using 6mm vertical and 8mm horizontal steel wires for excellent rigidity and resistance to cutting or distortion. The welded mesh structure delivers a strong yet open design, maintaining visibility for surveillance and safety while preventing climbing or vandalism.
Mitred corners on the welded steel gate frame enhance its structural integrity and provide a sleek, professional finish that aligns with modern architectural environments.
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 and coated with a polyester powder finish to BS 13438, the Apollo gate is designed for long-lasting outdoor performance. The coating offers strong resistance against corrosion, UV exposure, and wear from daily use. A wide range of PPC RAL colours is available to suit your site’s aesthetic or brand requirements.
Each gate comes fitted with a sliding latch that can be secured with a heavy-duty padlock for standard use. For enhanced access control, this gate is compatible with digital locks and quick-exit locking systems, offering the flexibility to meet different site security protocols.
The Apollo 1.8m x 2.0m gate kit is available with either bolt-down or dig-in posts, making it suitable for installation on both hard surfaces and soft ground. The universal hanging design means each gate leaf can be mounted on either side, allowing for easy adaptation on-site.
