With a generous total width of 6.0 metres, this double leaf mesh gate provides excellent clearance for vehicles, machinery, and maintenance equipment, making it ideal for sites requiring frequent access while maintaining secure perimeter control. The 868 twin mesh design features 6mm vertical wires and 8mm horizontal wires, welded together for superior rigidity and resistance to cutting or deformation.
The twin wire mesh layout also maintains high visibility for safety and monitoring purposes, making this gate particularly well-suited to environments like educational facilities, recreational grounds, and public spaces.
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 and finished with a hard-wearing polyester powder coating to BS 13438, the Apollo 6.0m wide gate offers excellent corrosion resistance, even in challenging outdoor environments. The powder-coated finish is available in a wide range of PPC colours, allowing the gate to match your existing fencing, branding, or aesthetic preferences.
Available with your choice of bolt-down or dig-in posts, the Apollo 1.5m x 6.0m gate kit is suitable for both hard surfaces like concrete or softer ground conditions. Its modular design is compatible with a variety of locking and access control systems. The gate comes with a standard sliding latch that can be secured with a padlock, or you can upgrade to digital security locks or quick-exit digital locking systems for enhanced access control and emergency egress.
Each gate leaf is universal, meaning it can be installed as left-hand or right-hand hung, giving you full flexibility on-site. The gate frame is finished with mitred corners, which not only add a refined look but also increase the structural strength of the gate, helping it withstand impact and wear over time.
