The Apollo gate features the popular 868 twin wire mesh construction, comprising two horizontal 8mm wires sandwiching a vertical 6mm wire. This structure delivers exceptional rigidity and resistance to vandalism or impact, outperforming standard single-wire alternatives. The gate frame is manufactured from high-quality steel and finished with a protective powder coating, providing long-lasting resistance to corrosion, rust, and weather damage.
With an overall width of 3.0 metres, this double leaf gate offers ample clearance for vehicle access, machinery, or groups of pedestrians. Each leaf measures 1.5 metres wide and swings freely on durable hinges to provide a smooth and reliable opening. The gate can be fully opened for unrestricted access or used with a single leaf for standard pedestrian entry, offering flexibility depending on your site’s daily needs.
Security is a top priority, and this gate comes equipped with a heavy-duty slide bolt and drop bolt system to secure both leaves when closed. The sliding latch allows for easy manual locking, while the drop bolts ensure the leaves remain securely in place when opened or closed. For enhanced security, the gate can be fitted with a padlock (not included), making it suitable for areas that require restricted access or out-of-hours locking.
Designed for ease of installation, the Apollo gate kit includes all necessary components: twin mesh gate leaves, hinge and latch posts, adjustable hinges, drop bolts, and fixings.
