Despite its strength, the gate maintains excellent visibility, which is essential for areas requiring surveillance or passive monitoring.

This Apollo gate is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel in accordance with BS EN 10346, and it is finished with a high-quality powder coating that complies with BS EN 13438. The powder coating not only improves corrosion resistance but also allows the gate to be colour-matched to corporate branding or site-specific aesthetic requirements. A wide range of RAL colours is available to suit different environments.

The gate features a modular design, allowing for easy installation and compatibility with standard Apollo accessories. It comes with a sliding latch, which can be secured using a heavy-duty padlock. For higher security sites, optional digital locks or quick-exit digital systems can be added. The gate leaves are universal, meaning they can be hung as left- or right-hand as needed. To enhance structural strength and aesthetic appeal, each gate corner is mitred, giving the gate a professional, durable finish.

In terms of compatibility, this gate is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with a variety of fencing systems. It works perfectly with 868 Twin Wire Mesh Fencing, as well as other mesh types such as 656 Mesh Fencing, Safe Top Mesh Fencing, and V Mesh Fencing. For added safety, the gate complies with BS 12604 guidelines when installed with an optional Safety Tether, which can be purchased separately. This tether helps to keep the gate within 300mm of its vertical axis in the unlikely event of hinge failure, aligning with DHF (Door and Hardware Federation) safety recommendations.
