The Apollo® 2.0m High x 1.5m Wide 358 Prison Mesh Gate Kit is the premier solution for controlling pedestrian access in high-security environments. This gate is designed to integrate perfectly with 358 Prison Mesh and 358D fencing systems for a uniform, high-security perimeter. Its versatile design also makes it compatible with other popular fencing styles, including 868 Twin Mesh and profiled V Mesh, offering greater flexibility in site design.
Key Apollo® Features
High Security 358 Mesh: The gate features a 358 Prison Mesh infill, one of the most secure options available. Constructed from prison mesh, makes it nearly impossible for intruders to gain a foothold or finger-hold, effectively preventing climbing attempts while allowing excellent visibility for CCTV monitoring.
Dual-Layer Weather Protection: The gate’s resilience begins with its high-quality, pre-galvanised steel frame, which provides foundational protection against rust. A durable polyester powder coating is then applied, adding a sleek, professional finish and a second, tough barrier against corrosion and environmental wear.
Safe and Professional Construction: All corners of the gate frame are mitred, creating a clean, professional appearance and eliminating sharp edges. The gate is supported by two heavy-duty adjustable hinges. Our Apollo® gates have a predrilled hole where a gate restrainer can be added to make the gate compliant with BS EN 12604 safety standards.
Advanced, Upgradable Locking: Security is handled by a versatile sliding latch plate. This can be secured with a standard padlock or easily upgraded to a range of Gatemaster locking systems, including digital keypads and key-operated locks, without requiring any modification to the gate.
Flexible Installation: The Apollo® gate system is designed for complete flexibility on-site. It features universal handing, allowing it to be configured for either left-hand or right-hand opening during installation to suit any site layout.
