This gate is a privacy design, manufactured from aluminium with a solid infill and is 1200mm wide. It is available in a range of heights: 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m, the higher the gate the more privacy and security.
Aluminium is such a versatile construction medium and it is particularly suited to gates;; it is strong and durable and is light in weight so it is reasonably simple to install and operate.. Aluminium is naturally highly resistant to rust and corrosion so can survive the damaging effects of the weather much better than traditional gate materials such as cast iron, stainless steel and wood.
Each gate comes with 2 wall-mounted and 1 floor-mounted hinges, a lock and handle set and a full length lock keep. Gate posts are only needed if there is nothing to attach the gate to. It has a polyester powder coating in black or grey as standard which gives the gate a very good quality look and finish, but it also acts in a protective manner giving it a shield against bad weather and wear and tear.
This gate is easy to look after, you just need to wash it down and rinse to keep it looking as good as new, and it is recyclable too so can be considered an eco-friendly choice.
