Apollo® 3.0m High x 1.2m Wide 358 Prison Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit
The Apollo® 3.0m High x 1.2m Wide Single Leaf Gate Kit provides a compact and highly secure access point, ideal for pedestrian routes or areas with restricted space. Built to integrate seamlessly with 3.0m high mesh fencing systems, this gate combines strength, reliability, and safety—making it suitable for both commercial and public sector environments, including schools, parks and warehouses.
Constructed from strong steel and finished with 358 anti-climb mesh, the gate delivers exceptional resistance to intrusion, vandalism, and tampering.
Key Features
Strong Steel Frame with Protective Finish
Fabricated from high-quality steel with expertly mitred corners, the gate frame is built for long-term durability and a refined finish. A tough Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) adds protection against corrosion and harsh weather. A wide range of RAL colours is available to suit your site aesthetics or branding.
Universal Modular Design
Designed to suit various layouts, this gate is universally handed—allowing installation to swing open from either the left or the right. A sliding latch is included for immediate manual locking, and the modular system supports later upgrades to a Gatemaster lock without the need to replace the gate.
358 Mesh Infill for High-Level Security
Featuring 358 mesh, commonly known as "prison mesh," this gate includes tightly spaced wires that are difficult to climb or cut through. The fine aperture makes it highly resistant to intrusion while maintaining excellent visibility for security monitoring and CCTV coverage.
Increase Safety with a Gate Restrainer
Pre-drilled for use with optional gate restraining cables (sold separately), this gate can be adapted to meet BS 12604 safety standards. In the rare event of hinge failure, the tether limits the gate leaf’s fall, helping to reduce the risk of injury or property damage.
Flexible Installation Options
The gate is available with two post fixing options to accommodate various ground conditions:
- Bolt Down Posts: Ideal for installing on concrete or other hard surfaces (requires 4 x M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post).
- Dig In Posts: Suitable for soft ground installations, using post mix for secure fixing in soil or grassed areas.
Perfect for Pedestrian Access
With a 1.2m wide clear opening, this gate is well-suited to pedestrian routes, site walkways, or restricted-access zones. It's ideal for use in schools, business parks, storage yards, and controlled access points within larger perimeter fencing.
