The Apollo® 2.0m High x 1.2m Wide 358 Prison Mesh Gate Kit offers a maximum-security solution for controlling pedestrian access. This gate is perfectly suited for locations requiring a wider walkway, such as high-traffic areas or routes requiring wider, more accessible entry points, where security is the highest priority. By combining a secure 2.0m height with the unparalleled anti-climb properties of 358 'prison mesh', this gate provides an imposing physical barrier. Manufactured from premium steel and supplied as a complete kit, it delivers a durable, safe, and highly secure access point for your perimeter.
Key Features
High Security 358 Prison Mesh Infill: The gate is constructed with a high-security 358 Prison Mesh panel. The prison mesh design is recognised for being incredibly difficult to climb, as it offers no finger or toe holds.
Durable, Weather-Resistant Construction: The gate frame is made from high-quality, pre-galvanised steel for long-term protection against rust. A tough polyester powder coating is applied over the steel, providing a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish that further enhances its resistance to corrosion, weathering, and daily wear and tear.
Versatile Fencing Compatibility: This gate is designed to integrate perfectly with 358 Prison Mesh and 358D fencing systems for a uniform, high-security perimeter. Its versatile design also makes it compatible with other popular fencing styles, including 868 Twin Mesh and profiled V Mesh, offering greater flexibility in site design.
Advanced Locking and Installation: The kit includes a sturdy sliding latch that can be secured with a padlock. For increased security or ease of use, the latch plate is designed for a simple upgrade to a wide range of Gatemaster locks, such as keypads or quick-exit push pads. The gate also has universal handing, allowing it to be installed for either left or right-hand opening on site.
Safety Compliant Design: Supported by two heavy-duty, adjustable hinges for precise alignment, the gate is engineered for safe and reliable operation. Our Apollo® gates have a predrilled hole where a gate restrainer can be added to make the gate compliant with BS EN 12604 safety standards.

Bolt-Down Posts: Equipped with a welded base plate, these posts are used for fixing the gate onto hard surfaces like concrete with ground anchor bolts.
Please note that pedestrian gates do not come with a drop bolt as standard, however can be requested by speaking with one of our sales team.
